Executives

Dennis Cook
President and CEO for WES Health System

Mr. Cook is responsible for the general operations at WES. Mr. Cook provides supervision and support for the executive management team.

Mr. Cook’s work experience spans over twenty five years of administrative, finance, management, and business planning experience.

Mr. Cook received his Master of Pubic Administration degree from the Kennedy School of Government. Harvard University. His Master of Business Administration degree is from the University of Chicago, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Economics is from Roosevelt University. He also graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.


Abayomi Ige M.D.
Chief Medical Officer

Abayomi Ige M.D. is the Chief Medical Officer at WES Health System. Dr. Ige has the responsibility of ensuring the delivery of quality medical care and excellent mental health services to all WES patients.In this role, he serves as the chairperson of the medical staff office with direct supervisory relationship with the system’s psychiatrists. He also oversees the operations of the quality management division.

Previously Dr. Ige worked as a Staff Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Wordsworth Human Services and Northwestern Human Services.

Dr. Ige completed his basic medical education and holds a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MB;BS) degree from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He also earned a Post–Graduate Diploma in Psychopharmacology from the University of Munich, Germany. Dr. Ige completed a General Psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania Philadelphia and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the Allegheny – Hahnemann University Hospital Philadelphia. He attended the John Hopkins University and received a Graduate Certificate in Business of Medicine Program.

Dr. Ige is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. Ige serves on the Pennsylvania Leadership Council on Psychiatry, and is a Co–Chairman of the Community Mental Health Chapter of the Philadelphia Psychiatric Association.


Lynne Hopper
Vice President of Program Operations

Lynne Hopper, a licensed social worker, is the Vice President of Program Operations. She attended New York University where she obtained her Masters of Social Work. Prior to coming to Philadelphia, Lynne worked in New York City primarily in the field of adolescent substance abuse. There, she supervised inpatient and outpatient programs, an alternative school, as well as developed Project 5–7–9 a collaborative prevention project between substance abuse providers and the 5th, 7th and 9th Police Districts in NYC. Her experiences in Philadelphia include management of a residential treatment facility and child and adolescent psychiatric hospital. Most recently Lynne has been a part of the initial implementation and continued growth of the school based behavioral health programs.


Dave Kittka
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Kittka has over twenty–five years of professional experience in healthcare financial management and reporting; budget development; third party reimbursement; and financing. Mr. Kittka received his Masters of Business Administration from Widener University, a Bachelor of Science in Health Planning and Administration from the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), and completed a financial management program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.


Love McCune
Director of Telecommunications

Love is responsible for managing telecommunications for WES Health System. As Director of IT, he is responsible for voice and data, management of the EMR system, the computer systems, applications, billing systems, servers, infrastructure, data security and WES office connectivity.

Love received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University, MS in Organizational Leadership & Development from Springfield College and his MBA from St. Joseph’s University. He has been with the organization since 1999 and has worked in various clinical and administrative departments and has amassed a wealth of knowledge about our programs, participants, communities and funders whom we serve proudly.


Lisa Smith
Senior Director

As Sr. Director, Lisa is responsible for providing administrative oversight to several programs within the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health and Elder Care spheres of service.  Although the target populations are quite different, the goals for all are mirrored; to ensure the provision of quality care that promotes the acquisition of person-centered outcomes, enhanced independence, and community integration.

An employee since the inception of WES and long term member of its predecessor organization, Lisa is committed to carrying out the mission of the organization and ensuring excellence in the provision of care in the communities WES serves.

Lisa received her Master’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University


Elizabeth Seeley
Chief Clinical Officer

Elizabeth oversees quality of care for WES Health System and is responsible for maintenance of clinical licenses and medical records. Additionally, Elizabeth collaborates with WES programs and departments to develop and implement new clinical and administrative practices, policies and procedures so the highest quality of services are provided to individuals, families and communities.

With 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field, Elizabeth continues to cultivate her experience as a clinician, manager, grant writer and program developer at WES. Elizabeth is currently in a training program for Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and in addition to her role as Quality Management Director she continues to provide counseling services to individuals at WES.

Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from American University, Wash DC and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, NJ.


Shushma Shah
Director of Business Planning and Analysis

Shushma Shah started as a case manager and now has been the Director of Business Planning and Analysis since 2007. She supports stabilizing current operations and the expansion to other service and geographic areas. She has over 15 years of development experience.

She received a Masters of Social Service from Bryn Mawr and a Bachelor’s from Drexel University.
