How We Work

Individuals referred to WES often receive their initial services through the A&E Center. The A&E Center is staffed by licensed psychiatrists, licensed psychologists, masters-level clinicians, and program support specialists. The clinical staff conducts comprehensive bio-psycho-social evaluations for individuals and families. The evaluations seek to help individuals and families better understand their mental health challenges from a culturally appropriate perspective. The evaluations also identify individual and family strengths, include a DSM-V-R diagnosis, provide recommendations for treatment, and refer individuals/families to appropriate treatment programs.
