The Adult Outpatient (AOP) at WES Health System is a large multi–service facility which provides high quality comprehensive behavioral health services to the Philadelphia community.

AOP is fully staffed to provide services to consumers who rely on the facility for their behavioral health care needs. These services include:

Medication evaluation and consultation Individual and group therapy Family and couples therapy Consistent nursing care Psychiatric evaluations Comprehensive behavioral evaluations

We are staffed by a diversified staff of psychiatrists, therapists and nurse that are able to address a myriad of behavioral health issues.

Topics for groups include:

Depression Stress Management Anger Management Relationship building Anxiety

Our staff are trained in various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Marriage and Family therapy, and Rational Emotive Therapy.

We are able to provide the community with free depression screenings in order to assess their behavioral health and make recommendations as necessary.

We can assist consumers in getting to appointments by arranging transportation, making it easier to get to our location regardless of where they live in Philadelphia.

We accept most insurance plans including most Medicare plans.

Specialized Outpatient at 2514 North Broad Street Specialized Outpatient is a program designed to meet the needs of the growing Asian population. This program provides medication evaluation and consultation, individual and group therapy, family and couples therapy in their language. Currently, the program serves the Vietnamese population with a Vietnamese therapist and a case manager, who also provides interpretation when necessary.

This year the staff was able to attend a conference on Hepatitis B and discover new ways to assist this population in prevention and treatment.

The 2514 North Broad Street location of WES, now has its own Intake department, which works collaboratively with Adult Outpatient, Child and Family, Specialized Outpatient and the OMY Program. The Broad Street Adult Outpatient team is comprised of individual, family and couple’s therapists.   We offer evidenced-based practices and a holistic approach, including Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for individuals and DBT skills group.  We also offer medication evaluation and consultation, group therapy and medication support from our nurse.
